WD wont capture dirt like your wanting. Stick to good air filter oil. Is it really worth a set of piston rings?

Burns and the guys are correct....WD is a lousy substitute for proper air filter oil, especially with a K&N. Go get a filtercharger kit, use the cleaner and re-oil with the right stuff. In much the same way that there are differences between engine oil and final drive oil, there are differences between WD and K&N filter oil that tailor it to it's use. There are even differences between foam filter oil and fabric (ie K&N) filter oil. Don't try to use the wrong stuff because it's convenient.
