wow! looks so clean. How did it mount up? was it an easy swap? Also, is the 450r swinger the same length as a stock 88-89 swinger?

I used 05 swinger 05 linkage backwards 05 axle and carrier with 250r brake stay and brake hub. youll need to machine out one of the bushings on the end that mounts to the frame and make some spacers for same same area, ill get some pictures tomorrow. This is a video another member posted that i followed hope it helps. Austin

glad it worked out for you, I was surprised how smooth it was too when I first jumped on it, a little on the stiff side but very smooth throughout the travel with stock shock

word of advice though:

the sprocket from the 250r motor to 450r swingarm sprocket will not line up perfect (small small like .5mm or something off) with that sprocket guard you might have a problem, watch your chain very very closely the first couple times you ride and make sure you keep the correct tension on it

I have yet to have my chain pop off or wear uneven and I was running a 12 tooth sprocket up front.

Just something to watch for though

oh and btw you can run a stock 450r swingarm skidplate with this setup, just in case anyone was wondering

there is a small savings in weight over 88/89 style even more so over 86/87

the reason I did mine was because you can get an entire 450r rearend (swingarm, bolts, axle, carrier, hubs, brake, sprocket, linkage) for under 250 bucks shipped on ebay and parts are abundant

and its getting harder and harder to find a stock 250r swingarm that is not completely abused or destroyed
