Anybody every experianced either of these pipes on a BB engine?

Im looking to get rid of my LRD BB adjustable pipe for either a TRX 5 or TRX 6 pipe or TRX 9 Im not sure which one to get though.

Im running MX with the bike, and im looking for more even power band.

Let me know your opinions of these pipes.

for MX you will want to stay away from the 9. I have the TRX5 and it has such a smoothe power curve, it comes on down low in the RPMs and pulls Waaaay longer than my FMF ever did. My buddy had this TRX5 on his Puma 363 and he had the same experience, he actually prefers the TRX5 to his FTZ pipe. The TRX9 pipe would be great for dune riding/ hill shooting but MX requires some more power down low. THe TRX5 is that one saught after pipe that does just about everything until you get to 400+ cc engines

My daughters TT 250R, has a 350 jug midrange ported & I use only two pipes, the TRX5 for long tracks & then the CT midrange for tight short tracks. In the winter playing on MX, same bike just shocked up different, I put the CT on because it is a good bottom end pipe on most any MX track we go to.

The descriptions that esr gives on the pipes is pretty accurate.
The trx 6 pulls much better on the lowend than the trx5. I have a bike that I ride dune trails with and the trx6 is much more fun to ride. The trx 5 on the same motor just required more clutching and gas to keep it in the power. I prefer the trx 6 and it would be my choice if I were racing xc or motorcross.

I have a 350 with 220 compression, 38 A/S, Vforce 3 and the LRD BB pipe. The thing has pleanty of down low, but has zero top end, it basically hits a wall when trying to do holeshots. Im hoping to open up the top end some more.

Maybe i need to look more torwards the 6. I dont want kill the bottom end of my motor.

Anybody want a LRD BB adjustable with no dents?????

This winter I am going to be getting my 330 cylinder up and running and looking at BB pipes. One place that is hardly mentioned is Dynoport. I talked to the guy over there a couple months ago about BB pipes. Thinking about going with his "wide powerband" (other is more top end pipe), just wish some one has run this pipe for opinions.

If you already have no over rev or top end with the lrd, then you won't have any with the trx6. It's all low-mid and does not rev out. I'd say go with the trx5 but even on that big of an engine the trx9 might not be that bad.

I put my FMF fatty off of my 310 on it, and it really felt alot better. The engine reved much much better. Cant wait to get a new pipe and really see what its got.
