x2...looks like a Selvy Sonic Pipe, hard to tell from this amgle if it's a Sonic 2 or Sonic 3...it's not a Sonic 1.

Awesome 'WURKS' pipe from 85-86 period...being a TRX250R pipe, it is a very early Kenny Roberts 250CC Selvy-Sonic 3 design...truly a collectors piece, should be worth $$$'s; congrats on the find...!!!

This is actualy a trx pipe, There is no paint on this pipe, just lots of "patina" lol. I read a post from Neil (C-leigh) on ATV riders that he used a copper wire wheel to strip al of the rust, than he used a propane torch to trace all the welds to bring the blueing back on the welds... I really want to try this myself, but i'm a little nervous as I don't want it to turn out looking cheesy. If someone else has any info on restoring these please post pics, and how you did it.

Just clean the Pipe well, use Olive Oil, and run it...the coloring will happen naturally.

Yep, honestly it was a complete fluke that I even found it, and I think I got it for a pretty good price. The seller didn't know all that much about it, so I have some questions for you. Where did these pipes make there power? I was thinking of pulling my pc2000 265 and just trying it out with a OEM ported 66mm cylinder. Oh and a special thanks to K10Seibel for all of the info he provided me on this pipe.
All these ATC250R & TRX250R Selvy aka KR Pipes like the one pictured were MX type pipes. The Power focus was down low to mid with a good rev out. Matching the porting, head, and pipe is everything with these hand made KR Pipes, just like it is with the modern day BDT WURKS pipes.

Once again; nice find...great collectors piece...!
