I bought an override a while back supposedly a 2-4 packard and it didnt come with shift forks and was told stock ones would be fine but it didnt work right with stock forks so im assuming they need to be cut and looking back at my notes on a 1-4 override I have im supposed to cut the forks to .880 and .800 on the right and left, not sure which is which cause my notes are at work but is the 2-4 the same cut?

I'm glad the springs are helping with your fork wear. I haven't experienced any fork wear problems. Matter of fact since 2004, my N down 1-5 tranny has performed flawlessly on hundreds of passes with some tuning hours thrown in here and there.
Yes, good to hear, 250R trans are a quality product, in the right hands they will last for a long time even on BB high HP engines. We have run OEM stock standard and overided trans with CryO gears with no failure for years in BB engines.
