bought this bumper off ebay searched under 400ex bumpers and there is a ton of nice bumpers cheap, gave $53 free shipping...always heard they would work on the R guess i will find out for sure. Thought this may help somebody looking for a new one,especially if u are a woods rider and beat em up anyway

Is that a tag metals bumper? i was looking at those for a z400 on ebay to put on my R, can you put up a pic once its put on your bike. From what i read on an exriders compatability thread the 450r,400ex, and z400(maybe kfx400 too?) bumpers will all fit with minor bending or adding some washers

Yeah I was gonna order a TAG! NICE! 450r & 400ex bumpers will fit. May need spacers. I jus bent mine a lil!

i went ahead and bought one too it looks great. Can you post up a picture of it mounted from the top for reference? looks like ill need about 14 washers total and a rubber mallet so im curious about yours

Sorry i couldnt remember what thread this was to post pics lol...duuuuh anyway my quad is in the shop so u will probably have it by then. That sounds about rite 14, looks real nice personally i think it looks better than the duncan and looks stronger.$53 is a great deal

Yea, you can find all kinds of deals on 400ex and 450r bumpers and just add spacers or tweek it a bit and your good.
