I did a lot of reaserch on this frame before I bought one and found out they were made by a bicycle company. They are junk. Wait till you try assembling parts to it. Nothing fits right. I hope you dont have nice fenders cause that's a cut to fit operation. I think at most it's a decent TT frame but I'd never jump it.

Depends if you have the updated version or not. I know the footpeg area is the main concern. Jones and Ballance both ran them for a couple years. They was pretty hard on them lol. Does anyone know a company that repairs them? I got one down the road that needs some work that I'm thinking about picking up. I heard from multiple guys like snowmaker10 that they are a pain the ass to get parts to fit lol.

i know my puma pipe had to be modified cause you couldn't install it in the LRD frame frame rails were too large.

its a light frame but i would be mindful that its not steel when you hit something hard its gonna hurt the frame pretty fast.

That's a shame because that thing looks like a work of art. I don't know if I would run it in GNCC like Ballance did, but it would make a really cool duner quad.

Ballance did break a few it didnt matter he a bunch at his house too ! ...at the time
seen 1 up close that was ripped apart by a tree lol look liked someone ltterally tore it open .amazing that he even finished they race with an A arm hanging off the rt side like that (( only attached at top mount& tie rod ))
I agree they a work of work!.. just not very good "functioning" work of art haha

I heard the guys who raced these things had to repair the frame after every race. Ther were never built buy anyone who knew atv's nor knew how to measure. Lol. They are exactly what everyone calls them, art. Your is in the best "condition" I've seen (not being ridden) ;). Lol

this was a well ridden duner bike from cali it has a couple repaires. i own two gibsons one arens one laeger and two housers, and an oem chassis bike. i cant remember any of the bikes actually haveing parts fit properlyother than oem. and i have had laegers and lonestars crack in half so its no suprise that an aluminum would as well. only bike after 10 years that has never cracked is my full gibsons. however they weigh the most. due to buying another houser cause i have a mental problem i put the lrd on ebay. mainly cause i would only use it as an ice racing bike and i cant win on a 2 stroke the champ destroyes everybody on a crf laeger. and noway would i cut this frame

I see the frame is up for sale on ebay. I guess all the feedback scared him away from it. I would run it on a XC bike.

I have one and it is the most High maintenance pos, it looks sweet and saves weight and adds hp but cracks and more cracks, be sure to figure on doing a complete tear down every other year and that's dune use with long travel, I do run it very hard through the rough ass silver Lake dunes though
