Howdy. Have you ever tried to change jets without removing the carburetor ? All you have to do is remove the throttle cable and loosen the clamps Spin the carb 90 or more degrees without removing the boots. Then remove the float bowl. Then you have to worry about the float retaining pin falling out. But if you take the carb off, remove the float, you can take a center punch and stake the right side of the float retaining pin boss just a wee bit and the pin won't be able to fall out. You need to be very careful doing this. But it works great. No more removing the carb to change jets. Speeds things up considerably. Not to mention it is kind of a pain removing the carb. I'm talking about a KEIHIN PJ carburetor. Never did it on anything else. I reckon there all similar
