I know this has been discussed and asked before but what are my options for aftermarket billet pegs for the 86’? Options, pics, opinions appreciated! Thank you and Happy Holidays everyone!!!

I do not want nerf bars, I’ve owned my R since 1989 and I never ran nerf bars and don’t ever intend to...

Thanks Doug! So the other option is an adapter, mount the adapter to the frame then I can run a 450R style peg (mounting the 450R peg to the adapter)??? Who makes those adapters, where, how much?

Happy Holidays Steve! My wife was just asking me about you and your wife we’d love to get together!

OK lemme see if I understand, so an 88-89 roll design peg will bolt up to the stock 86’ frame??
 



I know a guy that fabricates these from either A36 steel or 304 stainless steel. Let me know if you are interested.

The 'Best' Footpegs available are back in stock at BDT. Just couldn't keep them in stock fast enough the past 12 months. Now we ran a extremely large batch, in Anodized Black, Red, Blue and Billet...for all models of 85-86 ATC250R, and 86-87 TRX250R and 88-89 TRX250R.

NEW BDT Billet Pegs for all ATC250R's 81-84, 85-86 and TRX250R 86-87 & 88-89.

Available in Anodized Red, Blue, Black and Natural Billet. They come with 3 sets of Stainless Steel (SS) cleats (#1-5/16” installed) and 50 additional cleats of each #2-3/8”& #3-7/16” that are fully adjustable allowing Boot Camber to be varied from Front, Middle or Back.


You can also adjust cleat heights to increase or decrease boot engagement or aggressiveness to pegs. A BDT Safety Feature is the Full Radius Nose or FootPeg end, Unlike Steel Pegs with Sharp end corners that can dig into your boot or leg in the event of a fall.


They are 1.6 lbs per set lighter than similar aftermarket Steel FootPegs, 22% wider, 1/2” longer, and available in standard Stock Height and Lowered -5/8” & Set Back -1” for TT or Flat Track.
