That sucks guys. I'm the one who tries to fake a headache or do the roll over and take me fast as you can. My girl won't leave me alone. I got a 14 month old, 5 year old, 9 year old, 13 year old, and new one in the oven.

Racing against 1-2 locals, in an event that is not set-up, has no structure, and most builders won't show up is not my idea of a true Drag shoot out, it may be yours, however; not mine. If we are going to spend time, and travel to Drag race, it has to have some structure, rules, and be official. While Planet Sand may not be what it once was, it is still the only real yearly Drag event that has the highest turnouts of both serious racers and builders.

The chalange is still on from our end, if a few do not like Planet Sands venue or rules, to bad.... We will pick one of PLanet Sands 2013 events, make it known well in advance, and you can decide to attend or not. What more do you Drag Racers want than an established Planet Sand event, with classes, rules, and structure solely dedicated to Drag Racing...as fair as it gets.

Had to pretty much beg and threaten to get invoice for my motor and when i finally got it, it was straight up laughable. Most def something "off" about bdt and carlos is def a shade ball IMO.

You should start your own thread to address your issues. But Im curious, what happened with your motor and BDT?

Honda class is pretty much dead...Nows its Single classes that are dominated by Raptors. Heck, Dunefest is probably the lone "good" Honda event in the 7 Western states. You wont like that event though, because its an "open" class, no rules other then having 1 cylinder...

Either?

Raced there this last Feb and had a great time. Saturday ran real long, had quite a few bikes show up. Like to see what PS will do format wise.


I see you still haven't had any bites on that PS post......

Honestly, I had planned to use the Feb race as tnt for the PS race, but life threw me a curve ball this month. I still hope to make it but seems to be wishful thinking at this point.

So do we have a time and place, yet? I'll fly out to Oregon/Cali and drive my rental car out to the dunes to see this.

All this talk has got me itching to build a grudge bike.

SOOOOOOOOO all the bullshit aside!!!!!! i got my new radiator modified and installed cheked all fluids and made sure all the bolts were tight and kicked her over many many many times!!!! no go!!! checked for spark and it was there... tried kickin it over again... and no go!!! i changed the cdi with another one that i had and it fired right up!!!! not sure what was wrong with the other cdi but i trashed it!!!! now it starts up 1st kick everytime!!!! i performed a couple of heat cycles today... everything went great!!! idles perfectly and sounds great... ill hopefully be riding it up and down the street tomorrow if i get home early from work... ill be updating as soon as i get more ass time!!!! THANKS CARLOS!!!!!!! -simon

thats a little weird that you had spark and the CDI swap fixed it, good deal though

post some vids if you get a chance, i like to see them when they are super super rich on jetting

Yeah I thought it was wired too but swapping the CDI fixed it so my ass ain't complaining... Lol. It fires right up now no problems :) I'll try to get my camera charged and take a video... I have my wire harness all apart... I gotta re-tape it all and mount it all the right way before i take a video... Cuz it looks like dookie right now... Lol hopefully I have time either tomorrow or saturday to do it i got a shit load of things to do... I will update at a later time... -Simon
