Gonna rebuild my motor soon and just wondering what would be good options with keeping a stock cylinder, getting it ported by a repitubale builder, and a +4-5 stroker in it...
I have a factory 86 crank, ESR wants 325$ to stroke it and rebuild and FTZ wants 350$ for the same. Gonna call a few other places to check prices also...I'd imagine honda Oem stroked crank would be my best choice right? What's some good combinations for a stock cylinder with a striker crank that anyone has had experience with?
Also seeing on eBay some strokes cranks (hot rods) with bearings and all.. Are these good kits from y'all's experience. I've seen Carlos say he's done a bunch of builds with the hot rods and have 0 issues.
