I'm curious has anybody tried to make a heat sync that runs the full length of the rear caliper?.....Seeing that the cooling fins on air cooled 2 stroke and four stroke cylinders Run the length of the whole cylinder it would make sense to do the same for a heat sink to actually work on the rear caliper.... Thoughts?

I have seen people put springs in the caliper to keep the pads off the rotor when not being used.to me that would do the most to help keep temps down.i really never understood the need to help with temps on brake fluid.it's sorta a half open system.when the temp rises the fluid expands.if the system was totally closed it would then put pressure against the pads..thats not the case with atv brakes or anyother brakes.

Glann innovations makes a caliper hey sink that bolts on the top of the caliper. He also makes a block off much like trxjeepers, and also threads it for a gauge. He also has a nice brake set up for the pikes peak guys.
