I see lots and lots of folks running hood scoops. My question is, to install one do you just cut the plastics to make it functional? Id like to put one on but if i need to cut my plastics up id like to know that before i order one. Is there a template that comes with them to show exactly where to cut

As far as I know there are generally 2 types of hood scoops i) the ones made for oem/maier fenders and ii) the ones made for fullbore. No cutting required for the oem/maier ones, the one for fullbore
do not require cutting because of the vent in the front scoop, but some people do cut them to open it up more. If you are running a maier one piece front, there are no scoops that actually mount up, so
you will have to drill and zip tie or fasten some other way and cut a hole.

^^^^sorta correct except the one piece race cuts you can mount on top or cut out.

I do have 1 pc maier race cuts so i suppose I'll have to cut them. Thanks guys
