CP Industries Inc. makes them. They don't sell to the public. They have a line of builders that sell and set the cylinder up for you. Our site sponser BDT sells them as does a list of shops located at the website dealers tab.
 
Does Pete do a nice "all around" or "mid to top" port job or is he more of a drag guy? Thanks
Pete does what ever you ask him for. He is not one to get excited with the die grinder. Does the best dune and best drag. You specify what you want to do and he will tell you up front what to expect. For example "Duners" super puma is a high maintenance machine. A new piston every 10 hours. Cory knew that before it was ever built. The same goes for a rotax. Tons of power and alot of down time. I myself am looking forward to a small 468 Saber. Getting the power of the Super puma but the piston will last a 100 hours. Kinda what the OP is doing. A Puma makes 431cc easily. It has to be special ordered for a 344. But will last a good long time.

The standard bore for a Puma is 85mm. You might want to check what is available first before you decide on the final CC. I know the top end is at least $1200 without having the dome cut. That was 4 years ago when I got my 3 built.

On the cp industries website they advertise bores as low as 72. Is that just something they don't do anymore or what ? I'm not looking for a big cc motor I want something dependable that will last close to 100 hours and not cost more than 1500
 
For my research into a sphynx motor. The puma uses cr500 reeds I believe. From what I was told and understand a sphynx will out perform a puma cylinder below 370. 370+ is where a puma shines but the sphynx is better below 370cc. But note I don't have either but I am researching a sphynx 344 or 363 for my build plans.
 
Kevhes ask about the 344cc motor he built william(me) depending on clutch condition. Cost you right around your budget maybe a hundred or two more
 
The Sphynx cylinder kit and uncut dome was 950 I believe from Mat Shearer when I bought it. The with nickasil cost, cut dome, and porting it was about 1600, maybe a lil more.
