In the beginning stages of turning my 250R in to a XC woods warrior. Just got Hiper CF1 and Tech 3 beadlocks with GBC X-Rex tires. Next on the list for this season is taller and softer seat foam, +3+1 steering stem, precision shock n vibe bar clamps, and a few other odds and ends. Over the winter i plan on doing a Pro-X or CPI Sphinx 330 kit .

Project Update: Got some major steps done. Only thing I am waiting on is for my Pro-Peg nerfs to arrive. Thanks to Rath Racing for taking on the task of making those. It was a pleasure dealing with them.

+3+1 LSR Stem installed, desert tank, few other odds and ends. This should fit my 6' 6" frame much better

Also: My rear Laker fenders were a major pain in the ass to put on. Had to drill new holes in the fronts as well. Hopefully I won't have to remove them a lot.

Got the thinner 3-piece head gasket and gonna throw some race gas in it to see how she runs. Hopefully should be a big improvement.

Few other odds and ends and I will be ready to ride!!!

I like the Clark 4gal. I thought they might look dumb and effect my riding but turns out they look very good and beats sticking fuel in plastic bottle on my front bumper. Another 1 1/2 gallons goes a long way. I could go 50 miles before now and easy 75 for my type of wide open riding.

So I have a sickness.......didn't even get the Lonestar build out of 3rd gear before I found something I had to have. Laeger No-Link frame, PEP ZPS rear shock, PEP stabilizer, Laeger stem. Also picked up some Roll Design arms in mint condition from a local guy. It's so dam cold here in Ohio that not too much progress will be made for awhile. I'm really going to take my time and do this build right from top to bottom, no cutting corners. Here is some eye candy.....

Yeh, I think your right I just went out and looked, it appears as though yours is slightly farther to the right. It's a little hard to see for sure. Should be a great foundation for another build.

I sure hope it is. My only concern is protecting the swing-arm from the rigors of GNCC racing. This swinger doesn't have skid mounts, so my only option is to use rotor and sprocket guards.
