Hey guys, im getting my pro-x 350 motor back today, was wondering if anyone had an idea what i should start out with on the jetting, its a pro-x 350 kit with trx9 porting, long rod motor, 40.5 kiehin carb, trx 11 stardard mount pipe, 2001 cr 250 ingnation, esr elimator kit with uni air filter, not sure what the pilot and neddle r, what ever esr sends them with, i live at 7000 feet, I had an Esr 330 bolt on with the same set up and it ran a 180 main jet up here at 7000 feet and 195 at glamis, Ive heard that the esr kits run a lot leaner then the pro x so was wondering if i should stay with the same jets from the 330 kit.

well first see which pilot and needle are in it sometimes mistakes happen and wrong jets get shipped.

but my 330 and 443 both using a 42mm carb are running 185 mains and 52-55 pilots different needle in both though.

At sea level a 350CC ProX will run 52-55 Pilot, 188-195 Main, DGH on 3rd clip (sometimes 2nd clip) from top. At 7000' you would want to run in the low to mid 180's Main, 50 Pilot, DGH on 2nd or 3rd clip from top. FYI...at high altitudes like your location of 7000' verses Sea Level, you should be adjusting compression, the dome volume...this will allow you to compensate for the loss of air at higher altitudes. When going from 7000' down to Sea Level (Glamis), you would make a Dome change first, jetting second and vise versa. This way you would get the best performance from your engine...

Thanks for the info, I'm running 180 main, 52 pilot, dgh needle on 3rd clip from the top air ajustment screw 2 turns out, and it runs great from idle to 1/4, then it sputters a little from 1/4 to 3/4 and then runs great on the top end. Feels rich 1/4 to 3/4, should I pull the needle to the second clip from the top? I'm putting a 50 pilot jet in today but don't think that would effect 1/4 to 3/4.

2nd clip from top on a DGH needle for a ProX 350 is on the lean side with a 180 Main. If it runs good from idle to 1/4 throttle and good from 3/4 throttle to WOT, and Rich from 1/4 to 3/4 throttle, then the needle needs to change, not the Clip position or Main. Try a CEL or CEJ...
