this is a quad i just picked up.. i need help identifying the a arms because they need new heims.. or can i use a differnt brand heim? also is their a way i can tell how many inches their wider than stock? i know this is a 400 ex but i know 250rs are very similar. i appreciate all advice

I can probably tell you what they are if you put up a better picture

I can tell you that they are long travel

Yes the 400ex frames were based upon the 250r geometry exept 250r frame is square tubing and 400ex is round tubing, 400ex frame looks just like an aftermarket 250r frame

a heim joint is a heim joint. the a arm manufacturer didn't make them, they bought them. you need the ID size and the thread size, them go to rod end supply, or any industrial supply place and buy whatever your wallet will allow.
