Just wanted to stop in and say hi,

I will be starting a new build here soon "85 atc" going to be a drag build that I will use at silver lake, I see a few members here that also like to race there. This will be my first 2 stroke, I have built a few hondas in that past tho, one trx 450r that was a 533 drag build that ran a best of 4.7 first time out, then droped a valve testing a new pipe on the dyno and it took the whole engine out. so I thought I would try a 2 stroke. I still have a 06 450r that is a sb/ss with some port work and 14.25.1 comp that I still dune with, but I have allways wanted a 2 stroke drag bike.

I am thinking of a sphynx 370 of a puma 431, not sure at this point, I know the puma will cost a bit more but being that I am starting from scratch it might not be a bad road to go down.

Anyway just wanted to stop in and say hi, and i will have a build thread posted up in a week or two.

Welcome to the 2 stokes. A sphinx can be a very good motor to try out. A puma might be tight to fit in a at frame but I know it can be done

I have read that they can be a pain to fit, where to they like to hit? nothing a plasma and tig torch cant fix tho I hope lol

They are tall I know. But yea my buddy and I put a pilot motor in an Atc we had to make a smaller backbone and re make the subframe for the carb
