What’s up, not sure if this is the right thread, but anyway, here goes...I bought my 86 trx in very nice shape, took it by a friends shop to check some stuff, coil had low spark, before this she’d start and run pretty good, but on occasion wouldn’t start...I put an OEM Honda coil and NGK boot and new NGK plug, now she fired right up, but the idle is screaming... I haven’t touched anything but the coil and plug...any ideas??

Glad you got it fixed. What was the issue?

Just had to adjust the idle...the previous owner had it cranked up to make the old coil work...I didn’t know the choke is also the idle adjust, now I do 😁
