I have an 86 350x motor and and 87 250x motor both bolt into 250x frame
86 350x:
10.25-1 wiseco piston
Was a motor out of a 1986 sacrificed ATC during 1987 crackdown
sat for 19 years under a bench W/O spark plug
bored .020" over and replaced piston.. I have stock piston... it's absolutely mint. so scoring and no carbon buildup... as a testament to it's sitting before i got it and ran only once or twice.
Swapped into 250x frame, cut the rear motor mount to fit... (only modification needed)
Intake is enlarged to fit larger intake for 400ex carb (38mm)
I did use the motor for 1.5 years Then bought a 250r
so naturally, i rode the faster quad
I have a modified oil cooler in ok shape (no leaks)
a hand built headpipe for 250x frame
FMF silencer that fits headpipe
wiring harness modified for 350x motor... in ok shape
spacers for 250x Install
87 250x motor:
possibly needs a stator and one long valve cover bolt that broke when fixing a valve cover gasket leak.
never been rebuilt
only stopped using it due to electrical issues.
new stator should fix it.
will run without long bolt.
I also have a complete frame modified to fit 450r shocks/400ex a-arms without those stupid relocation brackets
