Can any of you guys get me a measurement from the swingarm bolt to the foremost part of the exhaust pipe. I'm trying to figure out if I can use a trx250r engine in a frame I have or if I need to get a dirtbike engine. Thanks in advance.

i have both of my R's outside getting cleaned.i will measure them right now,i just don't understand what you need?

from center of bolt to the farthest point of my son's ct pipe is 26''.now on my bills pipe it's almost 26 1/2''.i think this is what you are looking for?

cool thanks, I basically am trying to figure out if I'll have clearance for the pipe towards the front of the frame (right behind the a-arms). I figured the easiest way to get the measurement I need will be to go from the swing-arm pivot bolt in the back of the engine all the way to the front part of the exhaust pipe ( right behind the front a-arms)

i wasn't lying when i said they were right outside getting cleaned!!!!do you need the inner measurement of the pipe?if so let me know.

well, looks like a dirtbike engine it will be, maybe. I've only got 25.5" of clearance there.....bummer.

i would say you could dimpel in the pipe enough to make it work!!.worst case you could take out 3/4'' out of the head pipe.it really isnt a big deal!!
