ESR makes both center mount and regular mount pipes. Quad looks good. What did you give for her?

 

I like the 88-89 headlight even though I don't ride at nite anymore. Pipe def looks mounted wrong.

 

Lol what a way to make a pipe fit. Cut a bunch of pla off also some people. Nice looking quad though

 

Never seen a pipe run like that sux the plastic was cut for it but a nice clean looking ride. Like the blue (tank/seat) dont see that very often and the 89 hood and light is a nice upgrade, i would buff that tank,polish the rims and ride it and DONT CUT THAT PLASTIC !!!...welcome

 

Looks nice! Wish I'd have started with something that clean. What kind of tires are those and what size are those rear wheels??!!

Yeah I sure thought that was a crappy way to fit that pipe. Those tires are the old school fast trekkers, rear is a 10" wheel. Hopefully will have some time to give it some love this weekend but it does seem to run/ride great. Glad I came across it.

What the .... ? That silencer is too short ??? The whole exhaust is mounted wrong.....Looks like they mounted a center-mount silencer to a standard pipe......If you can find another 250R Silencer.....compare the two and you'll see the difference.....It's a real shame they CUT NICE OEM PLASTIC!!!!

 

Apex...the rears are 18x11x10, fronts are 21's


Langbolt....It does make me sick. I've restored some Honda plastics on a couple of my trikes and know that these could be worked to a really nice shine. I can't complain though. I didn't pay much of anything for the bike and it runs/rides incredibly nice.

 

wth!! Never seen a pipe mounted like that. Nice R. I like the colors and the rear tires. They dicontinued the fast trakkers but I think a diffrent company picked the design back up. Fix the exhuast and post a new pic please.

 

It's a center mount I like it for the look and with a shorter stinger it suppose to keep the engine temps cooler

It's definitely a center mount pipe but he didn't have the center mount kit

 

that extra peice of pipe stuck in between the silencer an pipe can't be helping performance !!!

 

So I need the center mount kit and I'm assuming you ditch the airbox with the center mount pipe? Maybe I'll just order the the other pipe and stick this one on my other bike. I think I'd like to keep the airbox on this one.

 

Yah those old 10" trekkers,Canadian atv racers went through alot of those tires from late eighties 2 at least 1/2 way through the nineties.Very good handling tire but the demise of many swingarms,frames and rims when track got rough and large jumps.Nice clean quad!
