A couple questions about the machine:

1. Do you know the length of the front and rear shock - Did you buy them new? What weight are they setup for?

2.Do you have more detail on the fasst bars - atv bend? 14 or 15 degree?

3. Is the motor staying whole? Does it have a stock ignition or CR250 and if it's stock, what year wire harness do you have?

Both the front and rear shocks measure 17 1/2" eye to eye. I ordered and bought them new from Custom Axis. They are setup for a 185lb. rider

They are the ATV bend 14 degrees

I'd like to keep the motor whole but I don't know if I'll be able to. It has the stock ignition and I'm unsure of what year the wire harness is.

do you still have the machine for sale? please send me all you know about the bike, i'm looking for a PV R.

Thanks
Yep! It's still for sale. All the details and pics are in the ad on ebay. Basically, I built it in 2004 starting with a used chassis from Glen Turner at Xplicitmotorsports. At the time I was working ALOT of overtime and had the extra money and wanted to build and awesome machine. I bought all the parts new and put it all together over about an eight month period. When I got it finished, I just couldn't bring myself to get it dirty. I had two other ESR 330's to ride so that's what I did. I love the quad and don't want to sell it, but they all just sit out in the garage and I could use the money to pay off some bills right now.

Talk about digging up the archives!
Checking to see if anyone is looking to buy a quad like this, these days.

I still have it and believe it or not, it still does not have 1hr on it. I drained the fluids and have had it stored ever since. I mixed up a little 110 and put a new new plug in over the weekend and she cranked with a wicked scream on the third kick.

Quad is located near Pensacola Fl.
$8000, I'm not interested in trading it or selling it any cheaper. Not going to part it either. I've listed below what I can see and what I can remember building.
What's changed since the day those pics were taken? Only two things. The chrome has flaked off of the LSR axle and there is a burn hole in the rear plastics. (fender support now installed)Other than those two issues the quad is flawless.

LSR '01 MX chassis arms (DC4) swinger (DC2) Axle, hubs bearing carrier, brake stay, antivibe stem, stem mount, handle bar clamp. If LSR made it in billet in '04, I bought it and put it on there.
Custom Axis remote res triple rates all the way around (185lb.)

ESR 350PV +4mil stroker TRX-5 pipe W exhaust stator cover water pump cover
kicker brake pedal shifter chain guard. If ESR made it in black in and chrome in '04 I bought it and put it on there.
NEW factory h cases W entire NEW Honda OEM bottom end parts
New Honda grommets throughout
Yukon gearset
Hinson clutch basket with quick change cover
Janssen AFCO dual pass rad
Quadrech seat cover CFtank cover CFshock guards CFrad shrouds

With all due respect and as a fellow R owner that has dumped over $10K into a bike, I realize that I'd be DAMN LUCKY to get $6500 out of mine if I sold it and quite honestly I have quite a few more goodies on mine than yours does.
Like my father always used to say, "It only takes one buyer" of which I would retort "How long you want to wait for that one buyer?"

Problems I see:
Most people don't realize how much money it takes to make one of these R's like this.
Hardly anyone has $8K laying around let alone $6500 on their dresser for a rainy day.
NO BANK WILL LEND any where NEAR that amount on an old ass bike like this.
Clearly this economy sucks
Most people would rather spend that kind of money on a BRAND NEW quad.

Sad to say but you'll get more money parting that thing out than selling it whole.
With my best intent meant my friend.
