Gday from australia (story on my project cr500 quad)

Gday i just come across this site love it already lol.Ive been building and restoring trikes and quads for as long as i remember cant get enough of em mostly all 250r's and atc's though i might post up a link to my latest project hybrid trx 250r chassi with 96 cr 500 engine.Ill just post the link to the build as its way to long to re write.And yes it vibrated like hell and if you read through the build youll find it very interesting how ive fixed the vibrations trust me read the whole story!

Mart, so your the one everyone's been talking about! There is several threads on here and another site mentioning the counter-balanced 500 motor. Welcome aboard, going to be reading your story now.

Mart, that is very interesting to me, nice work on the c-bal and cases. Its funny someone on that site mentions "Worlds Fastest Indian", that is one of my favorite movies. You could've casted your own pistons/cases like Bert did in the sand on the beach!!

It has cleared up most of the vibes, but i got the balance factor on the crank moved when i first built the quad and i reckon its now throwing off where the postion on the weight has to be.So ive got the engine out as we speak and theres a standard crank goin back in it so hopefully it clears it up even more.
