I just got my new 330pv cylinder and noticed that the sleeve pokes out of the top of the cylinder just a little (enough to feel with a finger) and the dome isn't quite flush with the base of the head either as it sticks out a little too. I tightened the head down fairly tight without o rings with a ratchet and the gap between the head and cylinder was 0.005'' above the intake and exhaust and maybe a couple of thousandths less above the transfer ports. Does anyone know if his is correct or if I should push the dome and/or sleeve in until they're flush....and if the dome has to be pushed in, can it be done with a 20 ton press or would it need heat?

Rossy, dude your not being a dick, you got a new top end that obviously wasnt put together properly... Call Eddie and tell him your issues, tell him you haven't even kicked it over yet and you noticed the .005" gap, he'll want ton fix it, his name is on that motor he won't want issues with a brand new motor, let him make good on it before a simple fix can turn into telephone numbers $$$!!!
