What is the correct size fuel line from a pingel valve to the main line of a PWK?

And lastly do you guys run the little clamps or do you guys run the fuel lines straight as-is?

The pingle I have has an outlet that is the same size as the inlet on my pwk. I believe it is 5/16" or 3/8", I would have to check when I get home from work. Either way, I didn't need to call anyone to buy what I needed. I got on Amazon and searched for fuel line. I also do not use the clamps as the hose fits very snug.

As Matuus stated; OEM lines are the 'Best IMO. Let's wade through the misinformation and answer the question Why...?

Honda OEM Fuel Line, either Grey or Black has a 7MM (.280" x .480") I.D. x 12MM O.D., fairly large and Best matched to the OEM Carb Fuel Bard size, as well the Pingel Fuel barb Inlet of 1/4" (.250") I.D. x 5/16" (.312") O.D.

Honda or Kehein or Mikuni Vent Lines are custom Metric sizes, basically 3.75MM I.D. x 7MM O.D.; again Best matched to the Kehein, Mikuni (OEM) carbs.

You can buy aftermarket Fuel Line & Vent Lines, However; they will either be Big or Small in size....again; Best to stick to OEM lines as Matuus correctly stated.

BDT stocks all the Honda Fuel & Vent Lines, sold by the foot, even all the OEM clips to attached correctly...see picture. BDT also stocks the complete OEM, Kehein & Mikuni Vent Lines in sets, ready to attach to the carburetor....something even Amazon does NOT sell....

Yeah sure, Amazon doesn't have the vent line sets, but Ebay does and so does Jets R us. They also have carburetor parts, complete carburetors, and the correct hose clamps. My pingle has a 3/8" (.375) outlet so I used hose rated for fuel with 3/8" (.375) ID. Not all pingel petcocks have the same inlet and outlet. I don't know how that can be construed as misinformation.

Buy 1/4" ID TYGON fuel line and be done with it. Plenty big, there is now way it can starv your carb.

I alway used that on my 35mm and 39mm carbs.

I buy 10' long at time.
