Its in the 70
s here now and last summer I ran a dgh needle on the center clip a 55 slow with a 185 main using pump gas (91) now Im set up for 100 octane everything else is the same and I have in a 190 main. The 55 slow seems lean. It stummbles alittle fron just off idle to about 1/4 throttle. On a 39mm carb turning the air screw out is rich I think the oppisite of the stock 86 ATC carb. Even with it way out it still hangs at idle. Almost like when you shut off the fuel and it starts running out. Whats the common slow jet size you all run in a 330. Mine in a trx 9 ATC esr pipe,39 mm carb, no airbox lid and 32-1 with 50/50 mix. I can believe the differance the switch makes going from 91 to 100 fuel. Carlos cut me a dome and Im really impressed. Runs alot better too

Im runnin a 58 on my 340pv right at 2 turns on the a/s with 110sunco
2x...

Probably, got something to do with the air.
Mid west folks for some reason, can use larger pilot jets than us here in the east. I've known some mid west with 310 top end to have to use a 60 pilot jets. All about that air in that area.

Try a 58 or 60 Pilot, AS at 1 1/2 turns, and you will need to change the needle type & clip position. I also answered your PM...

I just realized I have in a CEL needle sorry for the incorrect information. That needle changes all the opnions.

I was going to say... My 350, 38 AS, ESR pipe is very happy with a 50 pilot at summertime temps and between 300 and 800' elevation here in upstate NY. Any richer and she will flood out a plug if I ride areas I cant be on the happy lever pretty good. No hanging idle, and at about 1.5 turns on the airscrew....But I have the DGH needle and a 200 main jet.... Plug tests come out tan on low end....

Yes a bigger pilot will richen it up the air screw is confusing at first. One a 38 or 39mm Keihin out is richer and in is leaner but on the stock carb in is richer. Messed up how the same named part has the opposite affect. I put in a 58 slow DGH on the 3 or center clip with a 195 main running a esr pipe,v force reeds,no air box lid,39mm PWK running half 91/half VP110 mixed 32-1. It was 55 deg out today.I think it could use a bigger main yet. Other wise it really runs good. Alot more power.

Sounds like you are headed in the right direction...Carlos

I'm NY and its been in the 80's trying to jet my new ESR 310. 39mm airstryker with a fmf pipe and no air box lid. I'm at a 58 pilot and 210 main. The plug chops look good and it idles fine but adjusting the air screw does nothing unless I crank it all the way in the the bike dies. It has a DGH needle. Pump gas with octane boost probably around 96 octane. It runs great but I feel like I might be rich after reading where everyone else is? Not 100% on how the power should feel because its a new motor. Can anyone help.

I just started out with a 185 main 52 pilot and dropped the pilot to a 50 on my esr350pv 38mm AS I only have leaner jets for the main as soon as I get my shocks back to do plug chops. 200 main sounds awfull rich to me.
