A rebuild from the ground up (split case halves and replaced all bearings/seals) and I tossed the old oem stator and put in a cr250 (used off ebay which could be the issue) but haven't gotten it working yet. I followed it and found my ignition tests:
blue wire to ground = infinity
blue to green = infinity
Which is supposed to read 242 or there abouts. Is this a grounding issue or was I sold a bad ignition?
Currently I'm grounding the coil through the frame through the coil post and also the green ring connector. Also have a good ground from the motor to the frame and my grounds check out ok through a multimeter.
