I used the search and found 2 different threads with people talking about the auto-clutch. Sounds like the EFM is the way to go, and I have to agree. I'm sporting one in my DS450 and love it. I'd really like to hear if anyone went through with this on the 250r though, as it sounded as if some custom work needed to be done with the cover. I'm looking into this because, down the road I want to put a built trx250r engine into my DS and I don't know what I'd do without my auto-clutch .

Rekluse Auto Clutch....look into these as an option. We have done a couple of 250R's with the Rekluse, with minimal modifications. One consideration is one of safety, since you don't have a clutch lever, you give up the option to pull your clutch in if something goes wrong, like your clutch cable jaming or snagging on a tree branch.

I'm thinking down the road and was considering just getting one of your rebuild's, could you guys build one already setup with the rekluse. No clutch lever is what I'm used to with my quads, I actually run a left hand front master cylinder.....brake on the left, throttle on the right.

I know on my DS with the EFM auto the clutch lever is useless, but that's due to the weird design of the clutch. I think I have seen 1 finger or thumb clutch levers that could work.
