I don't know what kind of clutch I have in the machine I just picked up, but even after lubing the cable, it takes about 10 lbs of force to pull it in all the way. I don't have $200 to drop on a Magura, but it couldn't be TOO hard to make one work from something else. Street bike maybe? Anyone ever tried?

well my 250r is twice as hard t0 pull and kick and ride and stop and everything compared to the wifes banshee. and her old quadracer, that thing rode like a caddy, with a pinto engine.

aaron, you may need to check over you swingarm, axle, and wheel bearings...
first I've heard someone say a banshee or zuki was better than the ole R
:)

I love the hydraulic Jack lever. It's saved me from arm pump so many times, I don't miss the days pryor to having it. I bought one with a leaking slave and ordered an upgraded larger slave from magura. If you do go magura only use baby oil or mineral oil, anything else will ruin the seals. I know you said it was pricey but I think grand total was just at or right below $200 for everything.

I use a 89 update kit w/ trx450r springs. better pull but not as easy as the 450r. not shure why they pull so different cuz they are nearly identical now????
