I posted a few weeks ago on opinions on an aftermarket frame for my 86. Anyone have one they would sell or know where I can get one? I plan on building a long rod 330 but I think I want to get a stronger frame befor I sling that much more hp at my stock gusseted frame.

Your in luck brother I have my old complete and great condition Lone Star Racing pro peg frame, matching -1 swingarm and front suspension as well. Had this bike since I 2008 when I bought her out in cali. I"m into dirt bikes now so its all up for sale. Check Craigslist in Colorado search 2001 LSR frame. Let me know if we can come to a deal. My # is in the post if you want to call.

90%+ aftermarket frames have fitment issues and all crack.mild steel oem frames are alot stronger than you think.i have a 89 that has had stock -391 engines in it with hundreds of moto's mx and heats without one crack.oh and many rolls..

aftermarket frames are going to run you $2500+then by the time you buy am a arms swingarm, stem plann on having $4500+.unless you truly neeed or want one oem are fine.i have owned several and have sold them all.i just had this one off fischer tt frame built but it's what i wanted.

I think the ISF chromoly frames are the way to go. Im looking at buying one now even. They are going to much stronger than OEM square tubing that is mild steel.
