My hinson clutch plate kit will be here tomorrow. I have a stock basket and not sure what springs it has now. The hinson kit comes with fiber, steel, and springs. Is there any tricks to reassembly order? Just put in the hinson? Add one of my old steels anything?

Talk to Carlos, remove one plate, replace with what he says, its lil bit thicker on that 1 plate. Cant remember egg zackly.....

I have a snotty ported stock cylinder, raced 300ft for 2-3 yrs, works great for me.

It pays(saves) dearly to shop around, there are better products out there than what you can order from dennis kirk or RM ATV... IMO only.
Need help w anything, PM me,

soak fiber plates overnight in trans fluid. Scuff plates w scotchbrite /sandpaper or flat concrete is last resort,,,,, dont do that.

Steel plates I rub on floor first and feel edge (one side flat and other round) I face flat side out
And yes don’t break your spring bolts... there tiny little bolts

soak fibers and just install.fiber steel fiber steel, etc.dont over tighten up the bolts for the springs.i put a dab of blue loctite on them
Think its like 40 inch lbs/ errr something. Off memory,,,,, just tighten w 1/4 drive by hand and snug, good idea on loctite.
