Heck yes progress!!! with school and work it's hard to get garage time. Put off studying a bit and put in work on the 250r.
Got a esr 5 for Christmas from my bro. I'll run that for now till I can clean up my old LRD. Gotta come up with some kind of mount for bottom tab, hmm.
Waiting on a fuel petcock rebuild kit to come in and a esr top engine mount. I need intake gaskets and bolts and jet the carb and she'll be ready to fire.

My suggestion to save the pipe, regardless of manufacture, isolate and run a rubber mount, either OEM or aftermarket. Fab the needed spacer & washers to make it work. Lot less stress on the pipe joints, and avoids pipe cracking at the mount locations.

The one shown in the picture is a BDT Billet Rubberized Mount Anodized Black...basically an OEM version in Billet.

The upper hanger on my led pipe needs about a 4” extension so an Oem style mount won’t mount up but the rest of the Oem mounts will work.
As an FYI; you don't need the upper mount as long as the rest of the mounts are in place. For example; none of the BDT WURKS Pipes use an upper mount, they do use the rest of the OEM mounts. Reason being the upper mount causes more issues than its worth on aftermarket pipes, specially in fitment and cracking.

Finally an update. Will be doing a ton of dirt riding this year, so I opted to get some dwt bead locks and cheapy tires for the 250. Waiting on Arlan to call back so I can schedule a day to drop off my R for a hpi ignition, dyno & tune. Patiently waiting. It's almost ready
