I need a source for OEM quality level CDI, and new OEM seem non existent and I know the cheaper CDIs I have tried all have major kickback. The K&L are about what I have paid for new OEM, around $125, so they are non cheap, supposedly made in japan to OEM standards. Anyone ever used one? Can you recall if kickback was an issue?

Anyone ever tried the K&L HB9 CDI? Kickback?
Its an OEM ignition system for 330 ESR PV with a 4+ crank on a 86 ATC. I want to keep the lighting so I'm not to anxious to go to CR ignition. And a lot of used oem boxes end of up being bad it seems.
No "kickback" with these CDI's, they are 100% the same as Honda OEM, made at the same factory in Japan. Use only Honda OEM CDI like these; keep away from ALL other aftermarket CDI's.

88-89 are different from 86-87 CDI's....use appropriate year.
