450 carrier

has any one put a 450 carrier in there 250r swing arm? if so what did you shave down to get the snap ring in there? does any one know what iam talking about, or do you need the snap ring in there. its the snap ring that hold brake caliper on the carrier

i have a 450r carrier installed,i shaved the caliper backet some,so i could install the snap ring.

did you use a 450 brake bracket or 250r bracket? on the 450 caliper

i used the 450 carrier and the bracket the carrier came with.i had to grind the bracket lip off to install the snap ring.i just grinded the bracket just enough to install the snap ring.

axle/ hub spacing still correct? sprocket lines up perfect?

used same axle stock one 250r, just 450 carrier, brake braket+caliper! never thought to look to see if they lined up, i will now

mine looks like it lined up ok,the carrier on the 250r and 450r look the same on the spocket side.it is the brake side that needs adjustment.

ya looks mine looks good to, if its out its not out by much. just might go through sprockits faster thats all ha ha.

I heard it was 1/4 of a inch off, idk if it is true just thought I'd throw it out there.

ya its about 1/4 on brake side, that need to be shaved off
