I had mark Baldwin build and set up the suspencion for us.he told me the heights to run.it's been awhile but I think what he told me was because I am running zps fronts and a stock style rear non zps ,he wanted it the same or a touch heigher in the rear.

Well i would double check with him, because i have been around MX for along time and that doesnt seem right. You always want the front higher IMHO.

don't forget about the pep zps front shock's sag a lot compaired to everyother shock out there.the rear is an 86 with pep valving, cut and shortened main body.i still have the set-up sheet that he gave me when I went there and he build them for him and the a arms.i will look at it again.i'm 99% sure this is how he wanted it set up.

They do sag alot, but you still want to set them up for a 1/4 -1/2" nose high over the front. Hence you will need to add pre load. I have never met a shock guy that can accurately predict exactly how much pre load adjustment a shock needs from the shop. You need to adjust that once its on the bike.

Did you have the bike in his shop with cody on it for him to set ride height? Call and ask him. Tell him your front is lower than the rear with cody on the bike. Im very curious to hear, but i still think it should be higher.

well it went good and bad..he got second place..that's the good...the bad is the lower hoseclamp broke and he lost all of the coolant.he ended up overheating the motor..just to be safe.we decided to pull the motor out and send it to bdt to have them make sure it didn't get hurt.i would rather miss acouple of races just to make sure everything is right.

well it's been awhile.finally had time to get the motor dialed in and now it's time to go race!there has been soooo much upgrades it's hard to post..i think the best one is the added weight on the cr flywheel"THANKS BDT".this thing is STUPID FAST!!!!we have a race tomorrow.hopefully everything goes well and he get's to learn the new power this thing has."IT SCARED THE HELL OUT OF ME!!!".......I was ridding my 250r around for about 20 minutes today....decided to take his for a ride because I know it was really fat in the middle.......after I road it,"IT"S FINE!!!!"there is no way he needs more power....it came up in ever gear right off idle!!!

well it didn't go as planned but I think we have it figured out.durring practice the throttle stuck..rerouted it and thought I fixed it.NOPE!!first moto cody did awesome on the holeshot but throttle stuck alittle and he pulled off..we were going to pack it up but I decided to pull the throttle apart to switch the cable.found out the bellcrank retainer popped off.switched the thumb throttle and cable...all was good.no more sticking..cody did awesome on the holeshot again but it started breaking up so he pulled off the track again....when I put the new cable on,somehow I put it under the coil wire.it ended up popping it off the plug.easy fix.....all I can say about the motor,is WOW!!!there is power everywhere with plenty in reserve.hopefully next weekend we can go to pinelake and get alittle more seat time.
