Well the 2K13 season is in the books with a couple of Amature A class championships. Looking forward to 2K14 i will be shifting gears and not running as many local amature events. My main goal for 2K14 is to field my BDT powered 250R in the Pro Am class at the ATVA nationals at Red Bud, Walnut and Wildcat den.

I have already stepped up my training program from last season. Working out 5-6 days a week with a new higher intesity cross training. Its brutal. Besides those three close nationals i plan to run, i will probably run a few amature races in Illinoise at the Walnut MX track for practice to give me the best shot of keeping up in Pro Am. I know i can do it, but its going to take alot more effort than I have put in before.

As well as training for Pro Am level compition, i will be running more harescrambles next season, and possibly trying a GNCC on my XC 250R. I did well in the harescrambles i raced the past year in the Amature A class, and im hoping for some sucsess at the higher level.

So the tear down begins.

Rath Racing Monster Pegs fully mounted now. Very easy mount job for an 1986 frame. They would bolt directly to a 1989 frame.

back away? im not sure i know what your question is? I would assume they move the pegs foward an inch or so. I think the OEM ones where behind both the mounting bolts, but honestly its been so long since i have seen a stock peg, i cant remember.

They dont fit the Laeger pro peg frame, I had a custom set of Rath Signature made to fit my 16.25" pro pegs on my laeger narrow.

I don't see how you can reach the rear brake pedal on the 86 frame with the peg mounts moved that far back. I can't hardly reach the rear brake pedal on my 86 with my ac racing pro pegs now. And they are only set an inch back from stock. Your location moves the peg back an additional 1/2"-1".

First start video. Video started sideways because thats how i had the camera, but after droping it i moved it the correct ways and the video is messed up. Not sure why it didnt lengthen out like its supposed to. Anyways. Heres a taste.

Both are 363 based engines. The XC is running a little less compression, a different CDI and 250R vForce3 reeds. Not much, its probably down 5 hp from the MX motor.
