Today I got her out at School Creek near Milford Lake, Kansas. It's a spot about 25 miles from my house. Today the riding was geared towards seeing how much fuel I'd consume and to get a little seat time in. Today I learned a few things. With riding boots on the shifter is more difficult to get under. The new suspension is dreams better than my stock. I'm a little sluggish on the low end unless I can keep the revs up. My thumb is also severely out of shape.

I ran for about 25 minutes before my video I took. During this time I went to adjust my shift lever up a little and snapped the bolt head off. Thought it would be good since it was stuck but as I went to shift up I found that I couldn't. Luckily I found the shifter and brought it back to the trailer for an easy fix. Throughout the day I rode for about an hour and it seems like I have good fuel remaining. I didn't measure it or anything but I think I might tomorrow to see just how much is left. I also learned that my kick start wouldn't fold out and that kicked my butt as shown in the video. Once I got home I tore it apart, cleaned it up and lightly greased it. Smooth as butter.

Like I said, the engine needs a little tune to the 1/3 throttle range but other than that it rips. Between me holding on and not riding really at all my thumb was sore. Once I got home I did adjust the throttle slightly down. This angle feels like I have to stretch my thumb out less than before and it's comfortable in any position or turn.

(by the way, I was an idiot and left the waterproof back door on the gopro so it didn't capture the sound too greatly)

I've had the kicker stick like that when I was racing mx, got back to the trailer and cl3aned it and greased it and it was fine as well. Nice vid and it sounded gr3at man. Good luck with the race to man.

How many acres is that place? Also have you ever been to the park at Tuttle creek?? Is one better then the other? I'm out of the Overland Park area and have been thinkin about heading out that way one of these weekends
Well, Tuttle creek, aka Randolph orv is more geared towards trucks and such. I took the lifted Honda 450 out there and it was too rough. Sport quads might be a little better. In my opinion school creek is a little better but the scenery and size of Randolph is a lot better. Right down the road from Randolph is fancy creek mx. Haven't been there and have only seen it on YouTube. Looks like a good practice track.

Anything out in your area? I've got family in Overland Park and weatherby lake, mo (kc area).

In addition. There are more areas with less rocks at school creek. If I had to drive from there I'd go to Randolph and fancy creek. Fancy creek has a good location or two to camp and it's about an 8 minute drive to Randolph. In addition, if you run race gas vp is right down the road. $10.50 a gallon for c12. I know this sounds contradictive but I believe Randolph would be your best bet. I used to rock crawl my jeep there but thinking back I saw a lot of sport quads and dirt bikes.

I think I've talked myself into a future weekend of fun!

Sounds good, you got the jetting almost 100%....good job! All the wait while you were in Afghanistan to get home and complete this build is paying off, again great job my friend!
