This might be a post for a different thread, but after I cleaned the jets out and put everything back together, my idle speed is way too high. I've tried messing with the choke/ idle speed knob but it doesn't seem to be doing anything at all. Would I have missed something when I was going back overhear with the carb that would cause this?

The pilot or slow jet may have gotten something in it so take it back out and check. Also be sure the slide isnt stuck high and that there isnt a air leak.

Well I feel like an idiot. The throttle cable on top of the piece that threads onto the top of the carb had worked out some while I was in the process of taking the carb off earlier. Screwed it back in all the way and presto. Idled like it should.
