Yes sir re-bob......time to jack the people up once again ! Let`s jack the dune fees accordingly this is so. ca. imperial Glamis and Gordys ! From $90 per season to $150 and from $25 to $50 per week ! Because.......wait for it.....wait.... WE CAN ! And lets be able to trump up charges for camp-fires or anything else we can think of because the public are sheep and are here to be fleeced to support Law Enforcement agenda (over paid pension funds bad attitudes you name it) I`m saying we should all go .......not pay them a dime.....and see how long they can hold their breath without any funding ! Will they bite....... the hand that feeds them......will they get down on their knees.......will they bite:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::D:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

Yes my home state is a mess and I miss the weather and the so cal lifestyle daily! Now the way I see it the Bureau of Land Management are making it sooooooo difficult now for people to enjoy the dunes that they keep jacking up those fees to have people not come out my opinion. If you really analyze it the die hards will always come out to dunes no matter what we will find a way to pay fees and go. Now the younger kids or new dune enthusiasts just do not want to deal with this mess, or dont have money to buy bike, pay registration, pay dune fees, fuel, truck to haul bike, food and most important have a friends or family that shares his passion to ride dunes so I understand why the young kids don't want to buy a bike or quad and keep a quad in garage.
Before we got older and enquired responsibilities there was 8 of us that quads and were at Glamis frequently, and 2 of them sold bikes because of their obligations starting families but after 1999 when fees started the writing was on the wall. The rest of my buddies one by one stopped coming fees was a main reason and now that they are going up more will stop coming. Some of us did have genius ideas to save money, meet at Vons in Brawley and just load as many bikes and gear and each other in trucks as we can safely, using 4 straps to secure bike in trailer and to please a Ca state law with quads in trailer and us more fortunate would pay all fees, fuel, food leaving their vehicles at Vons Parking lot for the weekend. I sometimes feel we are in our teen driving to drive in and hiding people in trucks to get in when drive in was charging entrance per her!

What a shame! BLM is taking a great family sport and making it unaffordable. Been duning the imperial-sand since 1979 everything that BLM has done has made it less family orientated in my opinion. Like most of us die-hard duners, I MISS THE GOOD OLD DAYS!
You can say that again braa !!.......i miss those days of knee boarding in the canal or we`d go skeet shooting and not see another sole all day ! I didn`t even reggy my sh!t until `95 ! It was allways understood ........you biff hard and you may not make it out alive ...so be cool cause no one was there save you !! Last yr @ Glamis had dippy do da ranger come in sayin I WANT REGGIES !.......i didn`t put my beer down or get out of my beach chair and said they are on there !.......he looks at one bike.....doesn`t even go to the back of it (where sticker is) and says "nice seat" and takes off.......oh really dude....... i bet theirs DNA on the squad car seat where he misses his mom ! DID WE EVER NEED THIS ?:lol::lol::cool::lol::lol::lol:

If you want to see something really dumb about the BLM look at their website about the "Fire permits". The whole thing was stupid enough to begin with. Now you can go online and answer a few really lame questions and if you get them right, you can download your permit. They don't ask for any personal info or anything !. So what good is it ?. They have no idea who has one or not !. It's just one more thing to fine you for if you don't have one.
