yes i know the garage is a mess and i jsut had to throw my little atc 70 in there not finished yet but will be around 3 grand invested no joke....still more to invest but i can still put it together and ride it with what i have im just going to add more later
 
After looking at those engine pics, thats a low octane gas or high ignition timming melt down & I hate to tell you, but the bottom end needs checking to see how much of that piston is hiding in those bearings.
If it hadnt burned through to the inside of the piston the bottom end would have probably been ok, but its no telling how much hot aluminum sprayed into it & if not checked & cleaned out, just waiting to mess something else up.
I would be afraid to put a fresh cylinder back on top without checking it first.

You had some pretty bad detonation going on there. As deep as the pits are in that dome, it's not even reuseable. There's no way to get those deep holes out of it. Even if you got them close, and smoothed out some, they'll still create hotspots in the dome in the future, and then you'll be fighting pre-ignition.

Prolonged detonation will always lead to pre-ignition, but pre-ignition won't necessarily cause detonation.
