I have a lrd350pv motor ported and built for the woods. Do I need an actual big bore pipe or will a standard size suffice. There are so many conflicting posts on this lol. I do know a bb pipe runs a little cooler but I'm running a bigger radiator along with 110 race gas.

A big bore pipe would make a difference, but since you mostly woods riding, what you have should be ok.
When you get out in the open & rev it higher & stay on it longer, then a big bore pipe will flow more & cause the engine not to heat up as quick as with the smaller stinger pipe.

Hmmmm....now you got me thinking bc I'm wide open alot at most tracks. But granted that was on a 450 not a 350pv lol. I want the motor to run cool and be reliable. Sometimes it's 90+ out and when we get deep in a mud hole it's pretty much wide open until you get out kinda deal.

I run a standard pipe on my 363 running MX. It gets to a 100 degrees here in iowa for some motos, i dont have any cooling issues. I also run a stock radiator.

You should be just fine.

no. My TRX 5 is 1"ID

For woods / xc you need to also think about a clogged up radiator. A lot of mud at most of these races and that will really change what your radiator can do for you. I don't feel that it would be required for your build if your temps ran good but you must watch that carefully. For your riding you may have some conditions that will greatly effect your temps when you are busy pushing forward and not watching your temps. A bb pipe with a esr style larger header or one with a larger stinger might be a smart temp safety net for you and what you do. If you are talking about just riding with no traffic instead of racing then that will help keep your temps down.

You don't need a BB pipe or oversized radiators with an engine that has a good or rebuilt WP assembly, good coolant flow, and is properly set-up...your current pipe should be fine. Burns350R races a high HP/TrQ 363R Sphynx with zero cooling issues. However; a BB pipe does run cooler in displacements at or above 330CC...plus; the 110 race gas helps the engine run cooler.

Note that typically BB pipes with larger stinger diameters make less HP than the same BB pipe with the standard or smaller stinger diameter on smaller bore engines and sometimes on BB engines as well. At 350CC you should be fine with the standard pipe & stinger diameter as long as your engine and cooling system as working good...
