some cable lube or wd 40 or s56 might help, pull the cable off so it can run down in an work it in . how is the pivot point bolt an bushing ? RTC makes some good levers that have different slots in theim for more leverage ratios where the cable end goes in the bottom of the lever. search neil's clutch mod too.

its quite easy, they come with instructions

i had the streamline billetanium hydraulic clutch, went back to cable clutch

it is smooth and is an easier pull but its problem prone

has alot of plastic pieces, its a pain to get bled, if anything breaks its expensive

Oh yeah I don't like the sound of that. I think I'll buy a new cable lube it up and get a set of asv's and see how that goes.

Try a new cable first. See how that works. Could be a cheap solution. Then go with an ASV lever. It made a dramatic difference when i got my lever and the lever is really comfortable to pull and like I said made it easier to pull.

I knew hydraulic was too good to be true....thanks for the info
yea when it works its great, much lighter pull and smooth

I still prefer the feel of a cable clutch, the streamline broke on me three different times (all of which i was miles in the woods with no clutch)

the actuator started bypassing (leaking internally), the lever snapped in half, the actuator unscrewed itself from the clutch arm
