it's a stock cylinder.not sure about the piston numbers.what bore is it?it could be an oem cylinder with the bb 310 sleeve in it.

 

I googled the numbers on the piston and came up with a 73 mm piston is there a way I can tell if it has Ben ported or is there certain pics I could post up to where one of u guys could tell

It has been re-sleeved with a 292CC sleeve aka 310...it is on it's 2nd to last bore, with the last bore being 73.50MM

Can't tell much useful information from pictures, except that it has been ported or 'messed' with...really need to layout & time all ports to see what you really have, and if it's good.

dang, that looks like a thick ass sleeve!

 

The sleeve isn't actually that thick. The top of the sleeve has a flange that makes it look thick.... Has anyone noticed the extra holes on the intake side? Looks like your cylinder has had some extensive work.

 

Does anyone know where I might find a good used head to run on this cylinder I’m not sure exactly what I need

Anyone got a used head laying around for this cylinder

 

What would be the best option for a head for the stock cylinder I have with the 310 cylinder in it if I buy a stock head can I get it cut for the 310 and o ringed or would it be cheaper for a kool head or will a kool head even work on my stock cylinder

 

You can get a stock head for for a 300 on a stock cylinder. O-ringing the head is not ideal. Better to o-ring the cylinder...if the sleeve has enough material around the studs. If it uses the stock flanged studs, it should be avoided. I wouldn't bother with orings in that case.

 

I’ve had couple these setups. One had factory cut head and other had coolhead. Both took gaskets coolhead had cooper head gasket. Had good run time never leaked

 

My friend I bought it from had an O ring head but he was having trouble keeping the O ring from blowing is a copper gasket more reliable than the O ring type .does anyone have a decent used pump gas head that would work or maybe know a good direction to go for a new one

 

We've been modifying OEM & CollHeads at BDT Motorsports with two high temperature o-rings for >10 years with no issues or leaks. Many Racers & Races have won National 2 stroke classes (both Trike & Quads) with o-ringed OEM Heads. When setup correctly; absolutely no leaks, and better than a head with a gasket IMO.

As far as cylinders go, IMO to this day the most reliable cylinder is still the Honda OEM. A properly setup OEM @ 67-69.5MM bore x 72MM stock Stroke will run with any 310 aftermarket cylinder, while keeping the original Honda OEM quality & reliability.

OEM cut "Pump" or Race "Gas Heads" with two sets of o-rings for all sizes from 66-69.50MM are in stock at BDT Motorsports. Your Head can also be cut & o-ringed for the appropriate application.

I have seen that problem many times, and have seen people throw money at trying to fix them and still have head gasket issues. After head, head mod, gaskets, piston, bore, you are getting pretty close to the same cost as an ESR 310 kit. Would be better money spent and you would be starting off on a better platform without the headache and down time.

How much does it run to buy a head ready to go from you Carlos I kinda want to keep my stock head for my other cylinder I may have a buddy that has a stock head what is the price to send you a stock head and have you to set it up for me thanks
