Im starting my build for my suspension but now i need to find out what ball joints to get. i was at chaparral and they have the houser ones but i wanted to get the ones that bol up to the arms and are not pressed in. but the thing is i dont know what the set comes with becasue since they dont have them in stock (like usual) i need to order them and im not positive. does any one know where i can see a picture of the packaging??? or where i can get the right ones that i need. it is for a 1989 honda trx 250r and these joints are going on a +3 +1 kit i am making. and i also need some hiems so can you reccomend me some as well. thanks again. ohh and the joint set cost 60 bux for a set of uppers and 60 for a set of lowers. does that seem high priced. thanks again i appreciate it a lot!

Check out houser's website. Call and order them directly from them or laeger or somebody that builds suspension. These big places like chapparal and rocky mountain don't know shit when it comes to custom stuff. They only know part numbers from their catalog. The ones that bolt up like houser and laeger use are about $30 each. JD performance also uses that type.

For heims, check with Lonestar. They use them on the upper pivots on the frame. You could also check out www.rodendsupply.com They advertise in sand sports mag.

If you talk to houser, tell them you want the new bolt on style, not the pressed in ones. If you tell them "ball joints for a 89 250r", they will think you need the press in ones. The only a-arms they made for the R had press in or the old style bolt on ones. You want the new style.
