Hello, shiny new to the site. Super cool. Anyway, I'll get right to it. I've been wondering about using a TPS / powerjet carb & ignition combo for my '88. Keeping the lights is mandatory, everything else is open for discussion. I've rebuilt my one owner '88 to remain as close to stock as possible minus a few bits & pieces (CT 330 kit, twist throttle, bars, prkg brk elim., drilled out airbox, nerfs, brake lines.....O.K. I guess I've changed it up considerably). As of now I'm using a 38mm air striker and have used 39mmPWK for G.P.'s and desert events. While I wouldn't say I'm dissapointed in these carbs' performance, I DO believe there is another level of performance / fuel management for "our" motors. I am aware of the CR ignition / carb swap but, as said earlier, lights are a consideration. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. As a new member / guest, I would like to congratulate and thank everyone concerned for this site. It really is awesome. I'll try to post some pics of the sled shortly.
