Hey neil, the topend is on its way today!

Also i dont know if you have any heli coils, the previous owner stripped out 1 of the reed cage bolt threads on the cyl. if you have one and could install it, that would be cool.... if not ill do it my self.

let me know!

not weird its called dumb !!!..& I think some cant read or dont use the manual or a torque wrench while working on stuff all the bolt(s) need is to be set at proper torque .. :blink:
some just cant understand the manual is there for a reason :p

Right off the top of my head I dont think I have that 6mm size but I'll check.
I'll be looking for your cylinder.

twenty years of steel bolts threading into aluminum holes its not hard to have goofed up threads regardless of torque.
yah, if it was a stock cylinder i wouldnt have cared too much..but it was on the 310 ESR cyl. o well shit happens, heli coil will be just as good. Shit like this makes me lose sleep at nite though..lol.


im running the cases it has for now too, they are in good shape, but i WILL be doing new engine cases on this motor, and a quick change clutch cover.

Previous owner said it had a hinson clutch basket, but..its def a stock one thats worn out.

C-balancer bearings are also garbage.

gotta love it lol......

That sucks...I will be selling the hinson thats in my R when I get the new one fron you..It's in good shape just has the normal groves from the plates..I also have a good balancer. Let me know if your interested or are you planning on going new?

for the basket im going new. Is your balancer rebuilt? if not im just going to rebuild mine.... I can get the bearings i need.

Nah, it's just in good shape.
