hey im just wondering i have a 1987 250r (no motor) but soon to get one and my friend has a 2000 cr125 shorty exhaust. but when i get a good running motor who would win. and would a good and strong running 250r keep up with any 450's? j/w

my 86 R is not very built just a non pv 265 built by c-leigh with a few mods and i beat a piped jetted and sprocketed 07 450R and as far as the cr 125 it shouldnt be a problem unless your racing him on a tight track somewhere just my .02

Depends on the CR125 rider, how good they are. That 125 probably could make a bunch of 450 riders cry babies & maybe even some 250Rs. Bikes aint like 4 wheeler, you got pros riding 125s.
