Not sure what this is supposed to look like. Can't get the thing to idle. When I took the carb apart, the brass valve is in two pieces. Separated right above the adjusting nut. Sound right? It worked last year, but maybe it experienced a blow or something.

If it is broke, anyone got a stock carb and want to sell me this piece?

Mine came out as one piece. Does it look broken? or can you screw it back together? That could be the reason you cant idle. the choke plunger acts like a mini throttle valve controlling air/fuel bypassing the main throttle
