I have an '88 trx250r that has a weak spark. I already have a hotter cdi and coil. Will a 200W stator produce a better spark than a stock output one, or is it primarily for lighting only? I am going to replace the stator either way in hopes of fixing the electrical woes. Thanks!!

the 200w stator will only increase lighting output. If you want to fix you electrical problems, put a CR ignition on it.

dont get it... if you had alot of stuff like lights thats what its for... it sounds like its wireing take the black tape off an look at all the wires an check all your connections if theres any dirt or anything in it clean it out... then see what happins if it still gets a bad spark it is the cdi or coil.

o an check your spark plug boot it maybe bad to

Thanks, have new CDI and coil already, put in new 100w RS stator last weekend, no spark. Blah, blah, look at it again when it is above 30F and not raining/snowing. Isn't it about time for Summer?
